Tumbling: Ages 6 years and up

Tumbling and trampoline take the natural desire to flip and add the safety of progressions and proper instruction. Tumblers use a wide variety of equipment such as trampolines, incline mates, tumble trax, rod floors and bungee systems.

Class length is 1 hour to 1.5 hours

Beginner

  • Pre-requisite - Good cartwheel and round off skills
  • Develop front limbers, back walkovers and back handspring progressions
  • Introduction to trampoline and double mini skills and routines

Back Handspring Class

  • Pre-requisite - Independent standing back handspring on floor
  • Learn round off back handspring, front walkovers, aerials and series of back handsprings

Series and Tuck Class

  • Completion of the back handspring class or coach recommendation required
  • Fous on running back handspring series and back tucks
  • Introduces whips and tumbling combinations

Advanced

  • Athletes must have at least a running tuck to be in this class
  • Learn full twisting back straight, advanced tumbling combination, start double back progressions

Gymnastics/Tumbling Combo

Can't decide between gymnastics and tumbling? This class offers the best of both! Work your tumbling skills along with bars, beam and vault. Focus will be on creating a well rounded athlete that will be on track to compete in either tumbling or gymnastics.

Class length is 1.5 hours per session

The Peak Tumbling Team

(By invitation only) Experience the fun and excitement of competition through tumbling, double-mini, and trampoline. Back-handsprings are required. There is an increased level of commitment on the part of the gymnasts, coaches, and parents. This team also performs at local events!

Schedule:

  • Class length is 1.5 to 2.5 hours twice a week

Back Handspring Clinics

One of the biggest milestones in tumbling is conquering the basic back handspring. We designed a clinic specifically focused on advancement through this skill. Your child will be exposed to a varietiy of drills designed to increase the core strength and muscle memory that is used to progressively accomplish the goal of a proper back handspring.

School Year Schedule:

Time: Every Wednesday @ 3:30-4:30 PM

Fees: $15/Clinic

Summer Schedule:

Time: Every Tuesday & Thursday @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Fees: $25/Clinic
